After 10 months and 6 days since the fire, we are pleased to announce that the Holly Moose Lodge is BACK IN BUSINESS! The Holly Chamber of Commerce held a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony held in front of the lodge on Thursday April 27th for us. The weather was PERFECT as we had a whole host of dignitaries & responders join us from the local, county and state levels with wonderful presentations and remarks. The excitement continued as members and qualified guests made their way inside to see the freshly restored lodge. A variety of snacks & cakes were laid out for all. Then, right out of the gate an announcement was made that a local business, Hillman Roofing had "purchased the first round of beers" for the ENTIRE LODGE! (Thanks Robert!) We also had the State of Michigan Lottery follks in the building handing out gift bags to those playing Keno. The smiles were endless as the lodge changes were all well received!
Now that we are open for business, some of you have already noticed that our kitchen is still closed. We still have some work to complete in the kitchen and around the lodge albeit minor items such as decor andequipment tweaks. We will continue to keep you posted on the progress and hope to get back to tacos, burgers, fish and steak dinners soon!
